Westphalian Grenadier Gaurds

I finished this set last night. I was inspired by this unit from reading about the battle of Borodino. That is one of the last battles you will see in Tolstoy's "War and Peace."

Prussian Dragoons

This was a set a long time coming. This was one of the first sets I ever bought, and I finally finished it.

Prinz Maximillian (spelling) Saxons

Hat Industries started manufacturing their French Infantry in a white plastic. So I thought this would be convenient to try some Saxons. The uniform probably resembles more of the pre-1813 uniforms as the shako doesn't bare the tassles.

Brunswick Avante Garde

So I finished another set. This is the HAT Industrie Brunswick Avante Garde set. Not my finest work by any means. I remembered being inspired by Whit Young's blog, for Wasatch Wargamers, and his showing of the black uni Avante Garde. I will probably crank out the Saxon Infantry for my next post. Hat started manufacturing their French Infantry set in white plastic, which was kind of convenient.

French Legere

I got some French Legere done as well. I used the Hat Industrie French Fusiliers. I almost have the Brunswick Avante Garde done, in the Black Uni's. I will get some done in the Grey uni's too.

Saxon Grenadiers

Well it has been a while. I got some guys painted, just haven't been able to post them with the move and all. I know that they didn't have the white plumes. I will probably cut those off and paint over them. I used the Hat Prussian Grenadiers for this one.

Silesian Schuetzen

So I finished the Silesian Schuetzen. I actually just used the Austrian Infantry from Hat Industrie, and cut off the feathered plumes. I will probably do the Tirailleur grenadiers and fusiliers of the Young Gaurd next.

15th Hussars

Well it has been a little crazy to try and finish a set. The 15th Hussars was made famous in the "Charge of the Light Brigade," during the Crimean War. This unit would participate in the Pennisular and Waterloo Campaigns. I will probably do either the Middle or Young Gaurd unit next.
